The Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos (SF Bay Area) has both silent and preached retreats for women: http://www.elretiro.org/
Also, there are two Passionist Retreat Centers who both offer women’s retreats.
Christ the King in Citrus Heights: http://www.passionist.org/christtheking and
Mater Dolorosa near Pasadena: http://www.passionist.org/materdolorosa
I will confess that I have not been to any of these places. However, I’ve had a lot of contact with both the Jesuits and the Passionists, so my inclination is to trust that these are good places.
